I have been far too absent from this blog and must admit that it is not because I have not tried. I have attempted to upload numerous videos, but have not figured out the trick. Our internet connection is very finicky and goes in and out on a regular basis, so I am not sure if that affects my uploads or what the deal is. Anyway, I wanted to update you on what is shaking in Minnesota. A few weeks ago Mattie had her first Preschool program. Numerous times during the program Nikki and I looked at each other like, "Are we really at this stage in our lives?" It was wonderful to be able to see her in her element with all of her classmates making music and "performing" for their biggest fans. I continue to press on with school and wait to hear back from Vandi and BU. Many of you know that both of them have informed me that I am still in the running, but no final decisions have been made. I will let you all know as soon as I know. Wyatt is not school yet, but sure enjoys the time that he gets to spend with Nikki and me on Fridays and Wednesday respectively. Since Nikki works Tues-Thurs I stay home on Wed. with the kids to take Mattie to school. It is one of my favorite days of the week and I would not trade it for anything. Life is crazy busy, but crazy good. I just wanted to take a minute to get some activity back on the site and extend an invitation to join me at the Chicago marathon in October. The sign-up is open now, but will close sooner than later. If you have ever thought about running a marathon, this could be your time to shine! I hope all is well with you guys wherever you may be.
